MESA Perceived Neighborhood Safety

Measure Definition:

The MESA perceived neighborhood safety measure is based on three items addressing safety while walking, day or night, whether violence is not a problem and whether the neighborhood is safe from crime. Items were scored 1 (Strongly agree) to 5 (Strongly disagree) and a scale was based on the sum.
