Course Overview

The course is organized around the following five themes:

  1. Fundamental issues in health behavior theory
  2. Current theories and types of theories
  3. Theory components
  4. Theory testing
  5. Application of theories to health behavior change interventions

The specific topics covered will provided as the start of the institute nears. Because the topics covered will be very similar to those covered in the 2006 course, you may view the 2006 course syllabus through the link below for more information. (Note: The course was not held in 2007.)
