At the 2019 New Grantee Workshop, the Division of Cancer Control & Population Sciences (DCCPS) and the Division of Cancer Prevention (DCP) brought together approximately 85 new investigators who received their first R01 in 2018 and 2019 to build a strong and vibrant cancer control and prevention research program and to help advance their careers.
Through interactive sessions and informal activities, grantees learned strategies to successfully manage their grant; had opportunities to network with colleagues and DCCPS scientific staff; and learned about tools, trends, and resources to support their research.
