Building Expertise on Implementation Science Teams
Date: Thursday, March 31, 2022
Time: 3:00-4:00 PM ET
Category: Field Perspectives
Dissemination and implementation (D&I) research addresses complex problems and systems regularly relying on transdisciplinary collaboration in the research enterprise. While the question “How much evidence is enough evidence?” is often discussed, practical insights into “How much experience or expertise is enough?” have been less prominent. This webinar offers an opportunity to discuss finding, building, and recruiting diverse expertise in D&I research and practice. Panelists will focus on assessing the need for specialized expertise, decision making on team building, and successive collaboration drawing from successfully funded research efforts and subsequently developed best practices.
