About ISC3

The Implementation Science Centers in Cancer Control (ISC3) Program supports P50 Centers under RFA-CA-19-005 and RFA-CA-19-006.

The ISC3 is a unique network as it includes "implementation laboratories" involving clinical and community sites, where Centers' research and methods pilots are conducted.

The 7 funded multidisciplinary and collaborative research Centers form the ISC3 network to advance implementation science by:

  • Promoting the development of research centers that can build capacity to study high priority, emerging areas of cancer control implementation science
  • Building implementation laboratories in clinical and community settings
  • Improving the state of implementation science measurement and methods
  • Improving the adoption, implementation, and sustainment of evidence-based cancer control interventions through performing innovative pilot projects to determine best strategies for evidence-based cancer care
  • Providing data resources on implementation science; and
  • Sharing findings about implementation approaches with the cancer research community

…to reduce the burden of cancer by enhancing the design & delivery of cancer control interventions.
