The Scaling-up and Maintaining Evidence-based Interventions to Maximize Impact on Cancer (SUMMIT) initiative supports rigorous research to test strategies to effectively scale-up and sustain lung cancer screening among populations at high risk for lung cancer and tobacco use treatment services for cancer survivors.
SUMMIT consists of four separate research projects. Three projects focus on testing different approaches for scaling-up and sustaining lung cancer screening among those at high risk for lung cancer, while the fourth focuses on scaling-up and sustaining tobacco use treatment services for cancer survivors.
SUMMIT Research Projects
The SUMMIT Research Projects seek to advance the science of scale-up and sustainment of evidence-based interventions, with a particular focus on lung cancer screening and tobacco use treatment.
