The Scaling-up and Maintaining Evidence-based Interventions to Maximize Impact on Cancer (SUMMIT) initiative supports rigorous, cutting-edge research to identify effective implementation strategies for scale-up and long-term sustainment of evidence-based lung cancer screening programs among populations at high risk for lung cancer and delivery of tobacco use treatment services for cancer survivors. Findings from the SUMMIT initiative will help create generalizable knowledge on how to scale-up and sustain a range of effective cancer-related interventions.
The SUMMIT initiative is comprised of four research projects: three projects funded in response to RFA-CA-25-009 and one project funded in response to RFA-CA-25-010.
