Program Analyst, Research-tested Intervention Programs (RTIPs) Manager
Annabelle Uy, MS is a Program Analyst for the Implementation Science Team in the Office of the Director in the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). She is also the manager of Research-tested Intervention Programs (RTIPs), in which she oversees the evidence-based resource tool on the Cancer Control P.L.A.N.E.T. portal. It is designed to provide program planners and public health practitioners easy and immediate access to research-tested materials for use in a community or clinical setting. In an effort to promote RTIPs, she is involved in collaborative efforts across federal agencies: e.g. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (The Guide to Community Preventive Services) and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (Healthy People 2020 Evidence Resources Tool). Currently, she is also a team member of the HHS Ignite Project “Evidence-Based Intervention Implementation Accelerator” which aims to help behavioral researchers get their programs into practice to have an impact on public health.
