Annabelle Uy, M.S., is a program analyst for the Implementation Science Team in the Office of the Director in the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences at the National Cancer Institute. She is also the manager of the Evidence-Based Cancer Control Programs (EBCCP) website. It is designed to provide program planners and public health practitioners with easy and immediate access to programmatic materials for use in a community or clinical setting. To promote EBCCP, she collaborates across federal agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (The Community Guide) and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (Healthy People 2030 Evidence Resources Tool). In 2015, she was also a team member of the HHS Ignite Project “Evidence-Based Intervention Implementation Accelerator,” which helped behavioral researchers get their programs into practice to have an impact on public health.
Ms. Uy holds a Master in Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland University College and a Bachelor in Science with a major in Biology from the George Washington University.
