Obesity and Cancer

This webinar explored the intersectionality of obesity, cancer, and health disparities in the context of population, community-based, and behavioral research. The speakers summarized trends in disparities among demographic subgroups in obesity and cancer prevalence and mortality. Interventions to address causes of obesity disparities among medically vulnerable children and adults also were presented.

This was the final webinar in a month-long series that focused on the intersection of cancer, obesity, and health disparities within racially and ethnically diverse populations.
