Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) Webinars

This webinar provided an overview of the Tobacco Control Policies to Promote Health Equity funding opportunity announcements (FOAs) and Notice of Participation by the National Institute of Minority Health and Health Disparities. The webinar concluded with a question and answer session.

These FOAs will support observational or intervention research on reducing disparities in tobacco use and secondhand smoke exposure in the U.S. Specifically, the FOAs aim to stimulate scientific inquiry on innovative state and local level tobacco prevention and control policies. The applications must incorporate a strategy that builds on rigorous dissemination and implementation science and includes a comprehensive plan to disseminate research findings. Investigators should also include a specific plan to identify and engage critical community partners in the research.

The webinar is optional and is not required for application submission.
