Obesity and Cancer
In this webinar, Dr. Anita Courcoulas will describe the impact of obesity on cancer. She will then examine the current evidence for the role of weight loss induced by different treatment modalities, on health and cancer risk. Following this, she will elucidate potential biologic mechanisms for these effects. Finally, Dr. Courcoulas will outline future research directions for the multi-modal treatment of obesity.
This webinar is part of the NCI Obesity & Cancer Webinar Series, which aims to foster cross-disciplinary research on obesity that can help prevent, treat, and/or control cancer.
