Following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a dramatic increase in the use of telehealth to deliver cancer-related care. However, there is only a small scientific evidence base to inform effective approaches to remote care.

To address this need, in July 2020, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) released a Request For Information (RFI) entitled, “Seeking Stakeholder Input on Scientific Gaps and Research Needs Related to Delivery of Cancer-related Care via Telehealth”. This RFI sought information on scientific gaps that need to be addressed for cancer-related care via telehealth and on what approaches may be needed to address these gaps.

This webinar reported key findings and themes from the collection of responses received to the RFI. The RFI is part of a planning effort designed to identify promising opportunities and set priorities for research in the area of telehealth and cancer.

Following the presentation, there was a brief question and answer session and discussion.

Intended Audience:

Extramural investigators at junior, mid, and senior levels.

This webinar will be archived on the HDRP Events webpage.
